Dr. Brent Crutchfield is a small animal veterinarian, who loves helping people and their beloved pets.  She grew up nearby, in Greensboro, NC and has wanted to be a vet since she was a little girl.  She got her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at North Carolina State University in 2004, in Raleigh, NC.  She then attended the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario Canada.  She obtained her North American Veterinary Licensure in 2008 and moved to Vancouver Island, where she practiced at Island Veterinary Hospital in Nanaimo, BC.  In December of 2012, she moved back to her native NC to be close to her large east coast family.  She practiced at North Mecklenburg Animal Hospital in Cornelius from January 2013 until July 2015.  During her years of experience at these two busy hospitals, Dr. C gained a vast amount of knowledge in medicine surgery, and has treated and cared for countless fur-babies.

In particular, Dr. Crutchfield has a passion and a talent for the art of ultrasonography.  She has performed thousands of ultrasound examinations through her years of experience as a practitioner and emergency veterinarian.  She has dedicated herself to her passion for learning and teaching techniques in ultrasonography through continuing education courses, practice, and personal mentorship from experts in the field.

Her mobile companion animal ultrasonography services will better enable veterinary clinics to offer clients the appropriate treatment plan for their four-legged family members.

Dr. Crutchfield is licensed by the NC Veterinary Medical Board and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association as well as the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association.
